Whether you’re looking for a light lunch, a tasty cake or a sit-down meal, our eateries are all unique in their own way. Our Vista Restaurant sits high and proud above the Derwent Valley, looking down onto Matlock Bath below. The Terrace Café is a chilled place to sit with a coffee and a snack and look out onto the peaks. Sip on a beer or a glass of wine at the Tavern on the lower slopes in our stunning sunny beer garden.

Vista Restaurant

Take a seat in our Vista Restaurant on the balcony, on the garden terrace or within the restaurant itself and enjoy a sit-down meal, with table service from our highly trained and friendly staff. Choose from a selection of starters, mains and desserts or pick from our daily specials menu.

Terrace Café

The perfect spot to pick up a cup of coffee, take-away picnic snack or a light lunch to enjoy with friends. Soak in the far-reaching views and while away the day from the covered Terrace.

Whether you've brought your own picnic or are looking for somewhere quiet to enjoy a takeaway snack from our café, the Heights estate is full of secluded locations surrounded by nature to enjoy your food with family and friends. We have new undercover shelters too.

The Tavern

Holding the oldest beer licence in the Matlock area, the Tavern carries on the tradition of being a great spot to sit with a local ale or a glass of wine. Enjoy the views of Matlock Bath below from our raised beer garden.
